Trimble SiteVision now has an augmented reality (AR) software system that has applications in all stages of the construction lifecycle: planning and initial visualization, checking progress, and preventing issues to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
In the planning stages, SiteVision exposes hidden and future infrastructure in the proposed location at true-to-life scale. Sitevision captures photo-realistic scans to create models of preconstruction conditions, and can then confirm designs or adjust machine guidance designs on site.
Sitevision provides on-site calculations of measurements, including accurate locations on linear projects such as roading and highways with station and offset tracking. Users can also collect 3D data of new site features or changing areas to adjust your plan to current conditions.
