Avery Weigh-Tronix, LLC has announced that its newest software product, Measurement Intelligence (MI) Payload 1.03, has been awarded the Certificate of Conformance by the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP).
MI Payload is a software solution for truck scale applications, where documenting the weight of commodities and products is a key component of the supply chain process. Designed to manage weight-derived data from legal-for-trade scale transactions, it improves the weighing process with sophisticated networking and programming tools—allowing users to log, manage, update and send all necessary data from a single PC linked to a single truck scale. It is also scalable to interface with multiple scales and operate within a complex IT environment, alongside other supply chain and customer data management solutions
MI Payload operates utilizing the Microsoft® SQL 2005 database and can be run on any PC using the Microsoft Windows® XP or Windows Vista operating system. For each scale transaction, MI Payload can be simply configured to require minimal user input, expediting operator training and improving productivity. Having received first its California Certificate of Approval Number 5574-08 and then NTEP Certificate 08-079, MI Payload 1.03 now provides customers with further assurance of its high-accuracy performance, data management capabilities and satisfaction of key industry standards.
