Komatsu and ABB Collaborate on Electrification

Komatsu and ABB Process Industries have entered into a collaboration agreement to develop “integrated electric solutions that will help bring net zero emissions for heavy industrial machinery,” the companies say. 

Recognizing the varying stages of electrification standards across the mining industry, Komatsu and ABB are focusing on haulage, loading, and auxiliary equipment. This approach aims to build a comprehensive portfolio of production and support equipment to accelerate adoption into customers’ operations.
