The U.S. exported 71,012 metric tons of biodiesel and biodiesel blends of B30 and greater in May, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service in July and reported by Biodiesel magazine.
The 71,012 metric tons of biodiesel exported in May was up when compared to the 60,273.9 metric tons exported the previous month, but down from the 106,825.3 metric tons exported in May 2023.
The U.S. exported biodiesel to three countries in May. Canada was the top destination for U.S. biodiesel exports at 66,259.2 metric tons, followed by Peru at 4,691.1 metric tons and Indonesia at 61.6 metric tons.
