Schweiss says its hydraulic door Splice Connection system allows doors to be broken down, shipped, and assembled at a fraction of the cost.
The patent-pending system also allows the installer to slide both hydraulic door sections together and secure corresponding splice plates with bolts. No welding is necessary, and the splice connection is self-aligning for quick field assembly. Customers can request shipping or pick the doors up from the factory. With the system, Schweiss says customers may be able to avoid over-width permits when shipping large doorframes.
