Perkins 400F Diesel Engines

The new Perkins 400F diesel engines meet Tier-4-Final/Stage IIIB emissions regulations. According to Perkins, the compact three- and four-cylinder 400F lineup, which provides ratings to 61 horsepower, is designed to meet the requirements of original equipment manufacturers needing Tier-4-Final/Stage IIIB engines for small, high-performance, cost-effective machines. Minimal change to the new engines, says Perkins, means little or no machine redesign for manufacturers, which need only accommodate a compact after-treatment system that allows flexible mounting arrangements.
