Hamm Compact Rollers

The Hamm oscillation-compaction system is now available on certain models in the Hamm compact line. Models HD12 VO and HD14 VO feature standard vibration in the front drum and oscillation in the rear. Oscillation technology, says the company, compacts with a gentle, horizontal rocking motion that keeps the drum in contact with the mat. The Hamm compact line includes the double-drum vibratory HD 8 VV, HD 10 VV, HD 10 C VV, HD 12 VV, and HD 14 VV, with drum widths ranging from 31 to 54 inches. The HD 10 VT, HD 12 VT, HD 13 VT, and HD 14 VT are combination models with a smooth drum in front and four smooth pneumatic tires in the rear. Key features of the compact line, says the company, include longitudinal engine mounting, low-profile design, and three-point articulation that maintains even weight distribution across the drum.
