Randy Bach Retires from GOMACO
Randy Bach, long-time advertising manager for GOMACO and a concrete industry icon, is retiring effective April 1, 2020, after a distinguished 36-year career.
He joined the company's advertising department in 1984, becoming advertising manager in 1989.
"I am one of those who has lived and breathed almost every minute for GOMACO," Bach told the company's internal publication GOMACO Today. "It was my job to take a bullet for a family member, if I had to [GOMACO is family owned]. Fortunately, I never had to.
"I am proud to have been a part of building and protecting the GOMACO brand," Bach said.
"It's hard to imagine GOMACO without Randy, the voice of GOMACO," said Kent Godbersen, VP of worldwide sales and marketing. "He has been a fixture here for decades and a very important part of GOMACO's success and growth. You cannot find a more dedicated person than Randy."
Bach said he plans to spend more time with family, particularly his three grandsons, and indulge in two of his main passions, horse racing and golf.
