Vermeer TR6450 trommel screen sorts up to three product sizes at once. It has adjustable front-fines, rear-fines, and overs conveyor.
Its quick-change tension screen drum is 20 feet long and 6.5 feet in diameter. It can sort up to 180 cubic yards per hour with 0.5-inch screens and material moisture less than 40 percent.
A 120-horsepower Cat Tier 4-F diesel powers the trommel, whose drum speed can be adjusted from 0 to 25 rpm based on material type and moisture content.
The hopper infeed height is 9 feet 6 inches from ground level at operating incline and capacity is 6.5 cubic yards.
The side door on the TR6450 offers complete access to the drum body from the ground. A foldout motor compartment provides access to the engine’s backside and various access points to critical areas.
