The 2056 Vanguard from KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens is a 20x56-inch jaw crusher upgraded with a new single-cylinder autotension system.
A new wear seat provides easy access and increased uptime over the predecessor, the company says, and a new corrugated stationary wedge increases the crusher gap and maintains a steep nip angle.
The upgraded shaft and bearing assembly increases serviceability and reduces maintenance and rebuild cost, the company says. The electric motor mount, V-belt drive, and guarding are integrated, which enables the compact package to be used for mobile or stationary applications. The heavy-duty flywheels measure a 1-1/4-inch stroke.
