Roadtec RP-250e asphalt paver is a 10-foot tracked unit powered by a Cummins diesel delivering 241 horsepower at 1,900 rpm. It will pave to 233 fpm.

The auger assembly can be hydraulically raised and lowered, which, according to the company, can assist in eliminating segregation in certain mixes. Standard sonic feed sensors control each side of the feed system. Each auger is driven by its own motor and the auger chain case width has been minimized to the smallest amount available to further eliminate centerline segregation.

Each conveyor is independently driven, and the space between conveyors ensures mix is transferred as one uniform flow. Augers can be controlled independent of the conveyors.

The seats and controls mounted to the seat station slide out past the side of the machine for operator visibility. The entire assembly also pivots so the operator can position themselves as to see not only down the side of the machine but also back to the screed and down to the material tunnel.
