Bandit New 1490XP Drum Chipper

Drum chipper model 1490XP, new from Bandit Industries, Inc., features a 17-3/4” high by 19.5” chipper opening to more than accommodate limby material up to 15” in diameter and engine options up to 142-horsepower. All Bandit drum chippers feature the patented Power Slot system, which allows for greater chip velocity and virtually eliminates plugging. 

Like Bandit’s 12” diameter 1090XP, the 1490XP offers a compact size for easy towing and maneuvering, and an oversized drum for smooth, efficient chipping. The 1490XP’s larger diameter drum allows a majority of the material to be chipped on the bottom half of the drum and on an angle with the grain of the wood, reducing vibration and fuel consumption.
