The MVH206 from Multiquip is the ideal high-production reversible plate compactor for efficient compaction of sand, gravel, and cohesive soils. The MVH206 is designed with simple and easy-to-use controls that allow change of direction at full RPM with the flip of a lever. It is equipped with diagonal heavy-duty shock mounts that protect engine and operator from excessive vertical and horizontal vibrations.
This model reaches centrifugal forces of 7,870 pounds and has exciter speeds of 5,200 rpm. The maximum plate speed on this unit is 82 feet per minute. The MVH206 series is available with the choice of a Honda gas or a Yanmar diesel engine producing 7.1 hp or 6.4 hp respectively.
Other features on the MVH206 series include; a roll cage that protects the engine and serves as a lift bar, ribbed steel base plates for extra strength and a handle that folds 90 degrees for ease of transportation and storage.
