The Stinger electric flex-shaft concrete vibrator is a 12.9-pound universal motor that can drive the full line of Minnich vibrator shafts and heads, from 0.75 to 2.5 inches. Available in 15-amp (115-volt) and 7.5-amp (230-volt) configurations, the Stinger provides speed range of 11,000 to 13,000 vibrations per minute (vpm) to meet a range of placement conditions, says Minnich.
The Stinger features a standard quick- disconnect that adapts to the vibrator shafts and heads of other manufacturers. A protective frame uses urethane end caps that absorb shock, while supporting “easy-grip” handles. The Stinger meets OSHA A 29 CFR 1910.95 standards, and its double-insulated motor runs safely when grounded systems are compromised, says Minnich.
