Manitou Opens New Training Center in France

Oct. 16, 2019

The Manitou group has opened a new training center at its Ancenis site in France. According to a press release, the new structure offers a training environment designed for the machines’ clearance that will address dealers’ growing demand for training.

The building was created specifically to train technicians to maintain, service, and repair Manitou Group products, according to the company. This new infrastructure also addresses needs relating to machine dimension. The design is based on the proximity of training rooms to workshops, reducing travel time and improving productivity.

In 2018, 3,500 technicians received training. About 75 percent of the training was done remotely or at the group’s subsidiaries. According to the company, training has increased by 400 percent in one year.
