Manitou ATJ articulated boom aerial platform has a platform height of 59 feet 11 inches. It has up-and-over reach or 26 feet 3 inches, and horizontal reach of 39 feet 4 inches. It has a 42.9-horsepower Kubota engine and a front oscillating axle.

The mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) has 17 inches of ground clearance, four-wheel drive, and three steering modes for rough-terrain applications. Platform capacity is 500 pounds, and the unit complies with new ANSI standards.

The turret rotates 360 degrees and, with constant rotational control, the platform rotation speed varies according to how far the boom is extended. The operator is able make four simultaneous movements, including platform direction, machine rotation and lifting the boom. Four-wheel, two-wheel or crab steering modes are also selected by the operator.

A self-diagnostic panel at ground level detects fault codes, and the company’s EasyMANAGER telematics system tracks the unit’s location, maintenance cycles, and service warnings.
