The BMP851 multi-purpose compactor now features a polygonal drum option. The drum provides a larger area of contact similar to plate-style units. It also loads a high amount of psi onto the crowns of the drums, offering the benefits of a sheepsfoot-style drum compactor. The drum is designed to fit the same bolt pattern as standard drums, so the polygonal drums are easy to install. They provide an overall working width of 33.5 inches.
