Danfoss Reverse Displacement Motor Increases Displacement, Options

The Danfoss Reverse Displacement Motor (RDM), an open circuit piston motor that offers reverse circuit functionality without external valves for mobile equipment applications, now has increased displacement (38cc and 45cc), a speed sensor, and 24V Valve.

The increased displacements allow the RDM system solution to be available for larger machines. Speed sensor option provides more precise system efficiency control, and the 24V valve enhances the RDM to accommodate additional machine electric architectures, Danfoss says. The 12V or 24V integrated proportional shifting valve allows smooth, on-the-go reversing using system pressure, and the simplified RDM design eliminates the external valves and pressure supply required in typical reversing solutions.
