DEWALT's new line of portable generators (models DG3000,
DG4400B, DG6300B, DG7000B) have rated AC outputs of 2,920 to 6,550 watts and are equipped, says the company, with CARB-compliant DEWALT commercial-grade engines. The DG4400B, DG6300B and DG7000B can use a battery-start option, using the same cordless battery system as the 18-volt tools. These new units use DEWALT's maintenance-free (brushless) alternator and incorporate GFCI-protected outlets with individual breakers. Features include low-oil-shut-off sensing, oversized muffler, and engine isolators to reduce noise and vibration.
