Baldor says fitting the light kit to the generator takes about two hours. Special brackets and ballast box can be installed on the generator with no drilling. The self-contained, telescoping mast attaches to the brackets, and the lighting unit plugs into a 120-volt/50-amp twistlock outlet on the generator control panel. The mast can raise the lights 30 feet high and rotate 360 degrees. Four 1,000-watt metal halide lamps are enclosed in cast aluminum fixtures.
