The Komatsu PC228USLC-10 is a tight-tail-swing model designed with a rounded cab that rotates in the same swing circle as the counterweight. The 158-horsepower machine uses a Tier 4-Final engine and has an operating-weight range of 54,123 and 55,336 pounds. Using a closed-center, load-sensing hydraulic system, the PC228USLC-10, says the company, features new engine/hydraulic pump control technology that improves operational efficiency, speed, and productivity, while lowering fuel consumption up to 4 percent, compared with the previous model.
