Jonathan is president of this family business with roots to 1941. The company employs more than 380.
“Under his leadership, Strack Inc. has doubled its annual income from $50 million to $110 million,” says Jim Sams, business development, “all while expanding into new market segments and construction disciplines.”
Education: Southern Polytechnic State University.
Accomplishments: Jonathan started as a labor hand on a pipe crew at 12 years old, and has worked his way up through the company. He became a superintendent by the time he was in college, and has worked through the roles of project manager, vice president, and became president in 2013.
Favorite book: The Bible, because it holds the answers to any of life’s challenges.
Off the clock: Spending time with his family and stepsons.
Extracurricular: Jonathan has a heart for children and serves on the board of directors at The Joseph Sams School, a private, nonprofit dedicated to education and life skills development of children who are intellectually, physically, or mentally challenged.
