Tadano Announces New VP of Sales for Manitex

Tadano has appointed Scott Walter as the new VP of sales for its Manitex Inc business.

This step will help to integrate Manitex into the Tadano America organization and improve sales and support for customers.

“From the very beginning, we saw the Manitex Inc investment as key to meeting Tadano’s vision of becoming the leader in lifting equipment," said Dean Barley, president and CEO of Tadano America Corporation, Manitex, and Tadano Mantis Corporation.

"Since last January, we’ve dedicated much time and effort in enhancing our product, services, and support infrastructure for customers," Barley said. “With this addition to the team, we are now adding an increased focus on sales."

Walter adds nearly 30 years of sales and more than 20 years of management experience to the team. Most recently, he spent the last 16 years as VP of strategic accounts (OEM sector) for Ritchie Bros., charged with managing the company’s team of strategic account managers within the OEM sector.
