Bridge Collapse Kills Three Workers in Mississippi

A bridge across the Strong River in Mississippi collapsed, killing three workers, according to news reports citing the Mississippi Department of Transportation. The bridge had been closed since September 18 and was in the process of being demolished.

A report on WLBT says the three were employed by T.L. Wallace Construction. A witness in the video report said an excavator fell off the structure. Three other people have been injured and are in critical condition.
