May 9, 2023

Clark County, Nevada, commissioners have approved an expansion of The Boring Company’s plans for a tunnel underneath Las Vegas. The plan now calls for 69 stations and 65 miles of tunnel.

Currently, the Las Vegas Loop serves the convention center and Resorts World with 2.2 miles of tunnel. Expansions to the Westgate and Encore hotels are under construction.

According to a map circulated online, the expansion would reach to the Harry Reid International Airport, the University of Las Vegas, and other off-strip locations.
