Backlogs among U.S. manufacturers of construction equipment and economic problems at home are motivating China’s manufacturers such as SANY to export more into the United States, according to an opinion piece on Bloomberg.com.

The article cites increases in revenue among Chinese companies as high as 54 percent as evidence that U.S. equipment fleets provide an opportunity for market share gains at the expense of U.S. firms such as Caterpillar.
