The vertical-lift VT-70 compact track loader has a rated operating capacity of 2,328 pounds and a tipping load of 6,650 pounds. The Kubota turbocharged diesel engine provides 65 horsepower and 146 lb.-ft. of torque. Planetary drive motors transfer torque to the patented internal-drive sprockets.
A High-Output version (above) uses a turbo-charged 74.3-horsepower Deutz diesel that delivers 207 lb.-ft. of torque. It uses a DOC-only aftertreatment system to meet Tier 4-F standards.
The undercarriage features the patented Posi-Track rubber track suspension. The open-rail and drive-sprocket design includes rollers with mechanical face seals that do not require maintenance. Tracks carry a two-year, 1,500-hour warranty. Standard tracks measure 15 inches wide with 4.6 psi, and a 16.5-inch aggressive track is available for a lower ground pressure of 4.2 psi.
The hydraulic system includes large line sizes, hydraulic coolers and direct-drive pumps. A swing-out door and cooling system along with a three-panel hood arrangement allows total access to the engine, filters, and other daily checkpoints.
