Bomag BW141AD-5, BW151AD-5 Tandem Vibratory Compactors

Models BW141AD-5 and BW151AD-5 double-drum vibratory compactors have been upgraded to Tier 4-Final with 73.2-horsepower Kubota diesels. Drums have working widths are 59 and 66 inches, respectively; and provide 4,200 vpm and 17,760 pounds of centrifugal force. An engineering redesign repositions some components, including placing the water tank below the operator’s station and engine within the rear frame. The engine hood now enables unobstructed access from either side. The operator’s platform now has an adjustable seat that rotates and slides laterally to both sides. A crab-walk function allows operators to offset the rear drum left to right up to 6.7 inches.
