The Wacker Neuson EZ 17 compact hydraulic excavator, the smallest zero-tail-swing model in the company's range, features a compact footprint, expandable undercarriage, and two-speed drive. The new model has a maximum digging depth of 8 feet 2 inches and a bucket breakout force of 4,204 pounds. The expandable undercarriage is adjustable from 39 to 51 inches, allowing it to travel through narrow passages and gates, says Wacker Neuson. The EZ 17 is powered by a Tier 4-Final, 17.2-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine and features a load-sensing hydraulic system and an ISO or SAE control pattern.
