Wacker Neuson has introduced a new line of skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders to the North American market. According to the company, the new models “have been designed and built from the ground up using on-going feedback and advice from contractors who use these machines every day.”
The initial offering consists of four models, two skid-steers loaders (SW 24 and SW 28) and two compact track loaders (ST 35 and ST 45), all of which will be available starting mid-2014 through Wacker Neuson’s distributor network.
The SW 24 is a radial-lift model with a 2,350-pound rated operating capacity at 50 percent of tip load. Maximum lift height is 125 inches. The vertical-lift SW 28 has rated operating capacity of 2,800 pounds and a maximum lift height of 134 inches.
The ST 35 radial-lift compact track loader delivers 3,500 pounds of rated operating capacity at 50 percent of tip load and has a maximum lift height of 125 inches. The vertical-lift ST 45 has a rated operating capacity of 4,500 pounds and a maximum lift height of 134 inches.
All models use a 74.3-horsepower, Tier 4-Final Perkins diesel engine and feature standard two-speed transmissions. Large pressurized cabs feature ergonomic controls and available H-pattern or ISO joystick pilot controls.
