Allen’s RS800 Series roller screeds are designed for highway panel replacements, white topping or airfields. The RS844 is the first in the new series of spinning tube pavers, a ride-on steerable roller screed powered by a 44-horsepower Kubota turbo diesel engine. The 8-inch-diameter paving tube provides 25 percent more surface contact to the concrete than other roller screeds, providing for a smoother concrete pavement, according to the company. The RS844 is available in widths of 14 to 34 feet, with working widths of 12 to 32 feet.
