Two drivers were killed in separate collisions involving roading wheel loaders last week.
In Auburn Hills, Michigan, a woman in a Jeep Wrangler was killed when a loader pulling out of the city’s public works department hit her vehicle, according to published reports. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pending an investigation, the loader operator has been placed on leave.
Also last week, a man was killed when the car he was driving hit a wheel loader attempting to make a left-hand turn, according to news reports. The accident occurred on Oklahoma 51 in Kingfisher County.
