The Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) Changzhou plant will celebrate the production of the 1,000th Genie GS-1330m scissor lift, introduced globally in early 2019. The Genie 1330m offers a maximum platform height of 12.8 feet and working height of 18.8 feet, with a 2-person, 500-pound capacity, weighing in at 1,962 pounds.
This lift is equipped with an all-electric DC drive system that offers power for getting around indoor job sites with quiet, zero-emissions operation.
“The production of the 1,000th Genie GS-1330m scissor lift at Changzhou facility is exciting news for our customers. Thanks to our world-class Lean management practices, the Changzhou plant is able to utilize its production capacity to the maximum extent to better support the demand for this popular product from Terex AWP customers around the world,” Changzhou operations director Johnny Tan said in a press release.
