At the American Rental Association (ARA) Show, JCB displayed a tracked backhoe loader, the 1CXT. The machine is equipped with a 49-horsepower engine and an optional handheld auxiliary tool circuit making the 1CXT a self-contained power source for a range of hand tools. Operating weight is less than 10,000 pounds, allowing users to transport it without a CDL. A universal quick-hitch also allows operators to use a wide range of skid steer attachments. It will be available in North America later this year.
