According to a report in Route Fifty, cybercriminals may be able to access transportation infrastructure by hacking into electric vehicles. This opens up not only the vehicle, but also charging stations and electrical grids themselves to attack.
One expert suggested an attacker could shut down grids and cause blackouts for entire city blocks.
