Goodyear has added SilentArmor Pro-Grade tires to its Wrangler line for pickup trucks. Tires have a new tread compound for better tread wear and toughness. The compound is chip- and chunk-resistant and works with two high-tensile steel belts and a Kevlar layer to absorb road noise and provide a smooth ride. Rim Lock provides a more stable bead area, which Goodyear says reduces rim slip and reduces the need for balancing the tire.
