The dual-telescoping GP3 is the first in a new family of GOMACO pavers with the company’s “next-generation” technology.

The GP3 slipform paver is now available in an all-new two-track configuration.

The dual-telescoping GP3 is the first in a new family of GOMACO pavers with the company’s “next-generation” technology. Both the two-track and four-track GP3 models feature Smart Frame Widening to accommodate multiple width changes. The GP3 features a roller frame to accommodate multiple width changes, and the frame has a telescoping capability of up to 7 feet on each side of the paver, for a total of 14 feet of automatic frame widening. “Smart cylinders” in the roller frame allow “Smart Telescoping,” with accurate frame widening and automatic width reference for steering setup, says GOMACO. The T-beam mounting rail is incorporated into the telescoping frame.

The GP3 is designed to operate with the company’s G+ control system. Vibrator modules are positioned across the front of the operator’s platform for accessibility and operational visibility. According to the company, G+ allows quiet running technology, and a load-sensing hydraulic system provides maximum paving performance and optimized fuel efficiency. The paver has an isolated operator’s platform, which is accessible with multi-positioning, pivoting ladders that allow variable degrees of angle for safety and ease in climbing, or can be positioned vertically, tight against the paver, for minimum-clearance paving conditions.

GOMACO’s G+ Connect system allows all of the company’s smart accessories and guidance systems to be interfaced by "connecting" such features as a 3D string-less guidance system, independent-dowel-bar-inserter (IDBI) system, tie-bar inserter, power transition adjustor, or GOMACO Smoothness Indicator system. The GP3 can also feature the latest in telematics and remote diagnostics.
