Garrett is responsible for determining training needs, developing courses, and delivering technical training material to Komatsu dealer technicians and end users. In response to Covid restrictions, he developed a procedure for online training for company-owned stores. The online training remains a popular, efficient, and timely method for training. Garrett is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Business Management.
Education: Associate’s degrees, Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Professional accomplishments: Standardized a training program that increases learning potential with the use of micro courses, online courses, sequential chunking of information, technical service documents, and online video creation.
Off the clock: Woodworking and installing timber frames for the family business, “Langham Timber Frames.”
Favorite travel: The Gold Coast of Australia.
Fun fact: Garrett and his partner, Samantha, collect vintage clothing.
