Farm Groups Push for R2R Laws Similar to Colorado

Agriculture groups are putting pressure on legislators in Indiana and other states to take up Right to Repair laws similar to the one that recently passed in Colorado, according to published reports.

Last week, Colorado lawmakers sent a bill to the governor that requires manufacturers of agricultural equipment to provide repair information. He has yet to sign it, but the governor signed similar legislation covering wheelchairs.

States across the country have various types of legislation regarding right to repair.

The National Farmers Union and other ag groups are using the Colorado bill as incentive to encourage other states to focus right to repair legislation on ag equipment.
