Donaldson StrataCap, TopSpin HD Pre-Cleaners

Two new pre-cleaner offerings, the StrataCap and TopSpin HD air pre-cleaners, give both OEM and aftermarket customers the ability to extend car cleaner life and performance by separating dirt, dust and other debris before it reaches an air cleaner, according to Donaldson.

Both new designs allow for contaminants to be automatically purged, so there are no bowls to empty. StrataCap is the highest efficiency self-contained pre-cleaner offered by Donaldson. The unit is a 2-in-1 injection-molded above-the-hoood pre-cleaner and rain cap. The TopSpinHD pre-cleaner separates and ejects up to 80 percent of incoming contamination before it reaches the engine’s air cleaner, the company says.
