GEMAC has developed its CAN-Bus Tester 2, which, according to the company, fully integrates all functions required for error checking.
These functions, says the company, include signal testing for wiring and cabling, physical analysis, and protocol monitoring. The line signal testing functionality, says GEMAC, allows for the identification of short circuits, signal interruptions, loop resistance, and line length. The protocol monitor recognizes and identifies communication disturbances between bus devices, says the company, and “the physical-analysis functions provide detailed information on the level, harmonics, and edges of every element of the bus network.”
