Hitachi continues its rollout of the Dash 6 series wheel loaders.
The ZW180-6 Hitachi wheel loader is a 200-horsepower machine with an operating weight of 32,100 pounds. Breakout force is 26,530 pounds, and the loader carries a 3.4-cubic-yard general purpose bucket or a 4.2-cubic-yard material handling bucket.
It can lift 3,000 pounds to 12.9 feet.
Power Mode provides additional rim-pull and breakout force through a 10 percent increase in rpm, and allows faster acceleration without limiting top speed, according to the company. Hydraulic flow is also increased. An automatic power-up function responsively increases rpm whenever the loader slows down due to uphill travel.
Parallel/tandem hydraulic circuit enhances load lifting and dumping. The parallel tilt-and-lift movement smooths out digging operations, and the tandem function prioritizes the bucket while dumping. An automatic return-to-dig function resets the bucket for the next load.
