The Doosan 172-horsepower DL250-5 and DL250TC-5 (tool carrier) wheel loaders replace the “dash-3” (Tier 4-Interim) models, and have a Tier 4-compliant Doosan DL06 diesel engine.
Customers can choose between a Z-bar loader linkage for the DL250-5, and a parallel lift-arm design for the DL250TC-5. The Z-bar loader linkage is for digging, heavy lifting and general construction tasks. The parallel lift-arm design helps keep items level while the wheel loader is moving.
Both models have limited-slip differentials as standard. An auto-shutdown system allows operators to configure the idle time before auto shutdown from 3 to 60 minutes. When enabled, the feature will shut down the wheel loader’s engine when the preset idle time is met.
Cab enhancements include an improved adjustable steering column to provide more leg room, ease of operation and more floor space. Also inside the cab, a new fuel consumption gauge informs operators how much fuel the machine is using in real time. Two rear LED lamps provide better views, especially when working at night.
