John Deere Updates 312GR, 314G, 316GR, 317G, 318G Loaders

March 14, 2020

John Deere has upgraded its 312GR, 314G, 316GR, and 318G skid steer loaders and its 317G compact track loader. The five G Series loaders are designated “small frame” by the company, with rated operating capacities from 1,550 pounds on the 312GR skid steer loader to 2,125 pounds on the 317G CTL.

Cabs have redesigned manual control levers with ergonomic grips. A rearview camera is now an option.

Other improvements include protected auxiliary hydraulic lines that run within the boom for additional protection. The machines have an optional capability to support two sets of counter weights, providing the operator with greater stability and capacity to lift heavier materials. The newly integrated 4-point-tie-down system increases overall mobility and impact on different jobs by enabling operators to securely and safely move the machine to different locations.

Color-coded fluid fills and key filters are mounted for ease of access near the rear door. Optimized air-conditioning ducts and improved cab pressurization and debris ingression enable operators to spend less time cleaning.
