    Volvo D Series skid steer loaders—MC110D, MC115, MC135D—and compact track loaders—MCT110D, MCT125D, MCT135D—have a stronger boom design, backed by Volvo’s lifetime guarantee, that provides up to 11 percent higher lifting capacities than the prior design. Loaders are designed by JCB.

    The ROPS/FOPS cabs provide 30 percent more room and up to 60 percent greater visibility. Rated operating capacities for both skid steer loader and compact track loader models range from 2,500 to 3,000 pounds. An optional counterweight kit increases the MCT135D’s ROC from 3,000 to 3,200 pounds. The D-Series machines are equipped with a fully enclosed attachment bracket (right) that eliminates the need for greasing, as well as a replaceable, reversible wear plate.

    The wider side-entry door and new handrails facilitate entry into the cab without stepping over the attachment, says Volvo. The redesigned D Series also features a noise-insulated cab, large glass panels, rearview mirror, adjustable seat, and an “advanced” climate-control system.

    A forward-tilting cab allows access to internal components, and all service and maintenance points can be reached via the large rear door.
