Terramac Enters Wheeled Site Dumper Market

Six models mark the company's foray into the wheeled dumper market.

Three wheeled site dumpers mark Terramac’s entry to the wheeled dumper market. Terramac currently markets tracked carriers. Three styles of dumpers are included in the line: rear dump, swivel, and multiview swivel.

Rear dumpers are rigid-frame units with three steering modes: front only, four-wheel steer, and crab. Three models provide various load capacities. Model D6 has a heaped capacity of 8.0 yards and 13,230 pounds. The D12 heaped carries 10.8 yards and 26,455 pounds. The D14 has a heaped capacity of 10.9 yards and 30,865 pounds. Power for the dumpers are 72, 121, and 121 horsepower, respectively.

The DS70 swivel dumper (left) can carry 15,432 pounds with a heaped capacity of 4.7 yards. The 72-horsepower dumper rides on an articulated frame with a bed slewing angle of 180 degrees. Operating weight is 7,700 pounds.

Two multiview swivel dumpers include the articulated frame SV70 and the rigid frame 120TW. The operator’s station is a rotating turret mounted on a ball-bearing swivel ring. Operating weights are 9,240 and 17,550 pounds, respectively. The 73.7-horsepower SV70 has a carrying capacity of 15,400 pounds with a heaped capacity of 4.4 yards. The 121-horsepower 120TW has a carrying capacity of 26,455 pounds with a heaped capacity of 7.9 yards. Bed slewing angle is 180 degrees.
