ASV Adds VT-75 to Max Series Compact Track Loaders

Aug. 9, 2024
Vertical-lift CTL has a 74-horsepower engine and ROC of 2,300 pounds.

The VT-75 Max Series ASV compact track loader replaces the VT-70 High Output CTL. The new vertical lift loader replaces the Deutz engine with a 74.3-horsepower 4TN86CHT diesel engine from parent Yanmar, which means the loaders can be serviced at ASV dealers.

The compact track loader “fits right into the heart of the construction market where operators can make the best use of it,” said Peter Ovrebo, product management director - North America, in a statement.

Operating weight for the ASV CTL is 7,915 pounds, and rated operating capacity at 35% is 2,300 pounds. Tipping load is 6,571 pounds, and hinge pin height is 126.5 inches.

High-performance hydraulics and direct-drive pumps transfer power to the attachment. Auxiliary hydraulic controls are intermittent via joystick button or continuous via console switch.

The Posi-Track rubber track undercarriage includes a suspension made up of two independent torsion axles per undercarriage. Ground pressure is 4.5 psi, and maximum speed is 9.1 mph.

The cab offers 360-degree visibility and has a roof escape hatch. The 7-inch color display consolidates various switches and allows for the monitoring of attachments.

A swing-out radiator, top hood, and side doors provide access to all sides of the engine compartment, including filters and other daily checkpoints. The machine’s cooler also swings out with the door, providing access for cleaning.
