The 19,600-pound Bobcat E88 crawler excavator has been upgraded to series R2 with increased over-the-side lift capacity as compared to the previous generation. Undercarriage improvements include dual-flange track rollers, integrated counterweight, extra machine weight, and added track on ground.
The distance from sprocket to idler puts more track on the ground for the Bobcat E88, and the track design has been improved. The excavator is powered by a newly redesigned Bobcat engine that delivers 65 horsepower.
The excavator digs to 15 feet 2 inches and has a reach or 23 feet 6.5 inches. Bucket digging force is 15,130 lb.-ft., and its lift capacity is 10,020 pounds. Auxiliary hydraulic flow is 25.1 gpm.
Cab improvements include an easy-to-reach control pattern selector right underneath the seat.
