KOBELCO ED160BR-7 Excavator

Jan. 19, 2021

The KOBELCO ED160BR-7 Blade Runner excavator combines a short-radius excavator with a dozer. The 37,000-pound crawler excavator has a six-way dozer blade with folding edges instead of a backfill blade. It has power, angle, tilt, and lift capability. The 105-horsepower excavator has 24,800 pounds of digging force and digging depth of 19 feet.

Cycle time is 10 percent quicker than the predecessor KOBELCO excavator, with a swing speed of 11 rpm on the updated zero-tail-swing model.

Enhanced multifunction capabilities include an attachment selection system with adjustable flow-rate presets for the bucket, breaker, nibbler, and thumb. This attachment selection system allows the operator to change tools quickly and easily. Mode settings for other attachments, such as a tilt rotator, can be easily added or changed.

The KOBELCO ED160BR-7 excavator has a 4-year or 4,000-hour standard factory warranty with KOMEXS Telematics.
