Powered by a turbocharged Cummins Tier-3 engine generating 85 horsepower, the Vermeer SC852 produces 224 foot-pounds of torque, and is capable of cutting heights of 31 inches above and 25 inches below grade. The straight-line cutting width at ground level is 72 inches. A machine width of 35 inches provides the SC852 with a compact footprint for maneuverability on confined jobsites.
